Merge API Models

Akita makes it easy to merge API Specifications so that you can iteratively develop or experiment with new features. Now we will show you how you can merge 2 API specifications in just 4 clicks!

Step 1: Start a Merge

To start merging, click the 'Merge' button at the top right of the API Specification list.

Step 2: Select API Specifications

After clicking 'Merge', checkboxes will appear next to each API Specification. Select the API Specifications you want to merge by clicking the corresponding checkboxes. Once you have selected the API Specifications click the 'Merge Specs' to complete the merge.

🎉 You Did It!

That's it! You will be directed to the new API Specification that was created by merging the two API Specifications you selected.
